Cookie policy

1. Scope and terminology

This policy covers https://www.webeesolutions.pl, operated by WEBee Solutions Ewelina Wojciechowska, Polish tax identification number (NIP) 7972006548. Contact for website and privacy matters: it@webeesolutions.pl. “Cookies and similar technologies” means cookies and other mechanisms that store information on a user’s device or access information already stored there, including localStorage and sessionStorage.

2. Technologies used by the website

Mechanism Purpose and content Category Provider / duration sessionStorage: webee-theme Stores the “light” or “dark” appearance actively selected by the user. The value contains no user identifier. functional, connected with a feature selected by the user WEBee; until the end of the relevant tab session. Browser session restoration may restore the value. Language /pl or /en Language follows the URL and, in the configuration covered by this policy, does not require a device preference to be stored. no storage — The WEBee application does not use analytics or advertising cookies, tracking pixels or advertising profiling mechanisms. If the technical infrastructure provider introduces its own mechanism necessary for security or website delivery, it should be limited to that purpose and included in the website’s current technical inventory.

3. Light/dark appearance

On first opening the website, the interface may follow the device appearance. After the user actively selects an appearance, the website stores the chosen setting in sessionStorage so it remains available during the same tab session. SessionStorage is not automatically sent to the server in the same way as a classic cookie. It is nevertheless a technology that stores information on the user’s device and is therefore subject to the rules of the Polish Electronic Communications Law governing storage of and access to information on terminal equipment.

4. Legal basis and consent

As a general rule, storing information on a user’s device or accessing information already stored there requires prior information and consent under Article 399 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law; the rules on consent follow data-protection law. Consent is not required in the cases set out in Article 399(3), including where storage or access is necessary to provide an electronic service requested by the user. The `webee-theme` mechanism starts only after the user actively selects an appearance and is used solely to maintain that selected feature during the session. In the configuration described in this policy, the website does not require a cookie-consent banner because it does not activate analytics, advertising or other optional technologies requiring consent. Opening the website, scrolling or continuing to browse does not constitute consent to optional technologies.

5. Analytics, advertising and third-party services

The website covered by this policy does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, advertising tracking networks, third-party chat, or embedded videos, maps or booking tools where their activation would cause optional storage of or access to information on the user’s device. If a technology requiring consent is introduced in the future, it will be activated only after valid consent has been obtained. Users will be able to refuse and later withdraw consent at least as easily as they give it, and this policy will be updated before the technology is activated.

6. Managing preferences

Users may change the appearance using the website switch and remove website data through browser settings. The treatment of sessionStorage and restored sessions depends on the browser. If storage is blocked, the appearance switch may work only in the current view or the preference may not be retained. After the stored preference is removed, the website returns to its default setting, for example the device appearance.

7. Personal data and policy updates

Where information stored or accessed through cookies or similar technologies is personal data, the Privacy Policy and the GDPR also apply. This policy is updated when technologies, providers, purposes or applicable law change. Before a new tool or integration is activated, WEBee re-checks cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, scripts and third-party services used by the website.
